This is a one and one half day seminar on Jury Management aimed at enabling new judges to explore and develop more effective and efficient jury management practices. The program runs on Friday 24th and Saturday 25th November in the Sydney CBD.

This is a two and a half day residential program developed especially for experienced (mid career) Judges and Magistrates. It will provide an opportunity for judicial officers to reflect and share with their colleagues to work through the exploration of contemporary themes.

|Program: National Magistrates Orientation Program 2017||
This five day program, previously called the Phoenix Magistrates Program, is open to magistrates only, providing an opportunity for professional development, reflection, workshops and to meet magistrates from other jurisdictions. It will have a strong emphasis on using the knowledge and skills of people who are familiar with the challenges inherent in the work of a magistrate.

|Program: National Judicial Orientation Program, 19-24 February 2017||
The primary objective of the program is to assist newly appointed judicial officers with their transition to judicial office by facilitating the development and refinement of the skills, knowledge and attitudes necessary for effective judging. The program will offer insights into the role and responsibilities of a member of the judiciary, provide the opportunity for new appointees to benefit from the knowledge and experience of senior judges who attend the program as speakers, and allow an exchange of ideas and experiences among participants.

In partnership with the ANU College of Law, the National Judicial College of Australia will present the biennial Conference on 3 and 4 March 2018.
The theme of the conference will be Sentencing.
